Here's a nice interview with O.G. Graffiti Writer, Lady Pink..if you've seen Wild Style, she was Raymond's (Lee Quinones) girl. I believe this was from 2007. Man, her artistry has come a long way!! I love to see people advance in their art. She makes a good point, though. It can definitely be related to the mainstream crap (i mean, rap) game out there. Don't sell yourself out just for money...seriously, money making should be an objective and you do have mouths to feed, but don't come out with solely bullshit. There should be a balance. Str8 up. Anyway, here is the interview.

Kanye West creates video for song "Coldest Winter"
Kanye def had a rough 2009...with his outburst on MTV and his "interrogation" on late nite tv, ppl were telling him to just take a break as he had not properly taken the time off to mourn his mother. You could definitely tell that he still wore that heart on his sleeve, and who could blame him. A lot of people hated his "emo" side, but man if you lost the only person that supported you, and believed in your career as an emcee when others doubted...of course, that's going to affect you hard. I mean, that's your moms!!!! At any rate, this video is very interesting and is not for people that can't get with the Van Helsing type of vibe. Some people just don't understand Kanye's genius. I mean, he is a visual artist on top of rapper and producer, so of course his perspective will be a lot broader. This is off the song "Coldest Winter" on 808's and Heartbreak. Props Kanye.
