President Obama Makes a Statement on the Shooting in Newtown, Connecticut
Man, words cannot even measure the disgust I felt yesterday or even today to be absolutely honest. These heinous shootings have to be stopped, seriously. We must pay attention more to our own neighborhoods. We have to really be aware of some signs people bring to help prevent these major occurrences from happening over and over again. It's just not cool, at all.
These were innocent children and adults that were killed in a school system meant for learning and growth. Kids that cannot fulfill their dreams, cannot play outside, tell their parents they love them. They were kids completely stripped of their innocent. It's really amazing how society has gotten so ugly these days. At least back in the day when there killings, people left the kids alone. Not condoning the killing at all. However, I just think to myself, "Who had it so bad to do something so extreme and malicious?"
I can only imagine how rough it was for the President to speak to the world on such a serious matter because he is a parent of two children, too. All I can say is hope and pray for the families and friends of the victims who were wrongfully killed. May God have mercy on their souls. Ensure that you show your family, not just your kids or little ones, love. Hug them extra tight this holiday season. Peace and love, y'all!
