Lil Wayne ft Eminem "Drop The World" (teaser)

I have to say I'm not the biggest weezy fan in the world, but I do like some of his stuff. I'm actually looking forward to seeing how the vid collabo of Weezy and Eminem is going to be. There's a decent amount of this teaser so you can actually see the concept of the video. It looks very post apocalyptic imho. Definitely makes for an interesting, action packed video. Tell me your thoughts.

Natural disasters: Is it just me or is the frequency making me worried?

Ok. We've been in global warming for a while now (I know this). However, these back to back earthquakes from Haiti and Chile  makes me really wonder how much we are actually taking from Mother Earth. I mean, there is such thing as natural phenomena - this is true. There are no things stopping it from happening, and we have no control (for the most part). With all this man made stuff and how much of the earth we take advantage of for our benefit, I really wonder if these are the causes of our irresponsibility as to preserving the platform we live upon.  Those were not any old earthquakes that hit. The Haiti quake was a 7.0 scaled quake. And Chile's was even stronger at 8.8. That's something to fear especially after reading how the time continuum slightly shifted. In lay man's terms, the 8.8. quake may have shifted the entire Earth's natural rotation. This means that days are going to be a little shorter. Now, if that doesn't say anything to you, I dunno what does. It's not like this kind of stuff didn't happen, but this was a back to back thing. I can't even imagine if another quake of this magnitude happens really soon. Hmm...At any rate, here's the article - very interesting and frightening at the same time.

Hilarious: DBZ abridged episode 12...

Enough said. Just watch! HAHA! Gotta love Dragon Ball Z

What is Hip-Hop and Hip-Hop dance?

It's a term that's been misconstrued since the exploitation era. Ok, I can go into a long, well thought out thesis. However, you will not read all that, because "humans have lack of attention span." lol. At any rate, my believe from the original coin of the term. It is b-boying *the original dance of Hip-Hop which came out of the social dances in NYC - particularly the Bronx*, graffiti *the art of Hip-Hop*, emceeing *the spoken word, the crowd controller,* the dj *the backbone....the crowd regulator that manipulates the music for everyone to get down to*, and knowledge *spreading that knowledge and culture and learning the history*. Now these 5 elements have been battered time and time again.

What I am getting into with this...mainstream "Hip-Pop" dancing. Any real practitioner of the dance knows that official dance begins with B-boying *break dancing*. However, where does that lead to all the freestyle dances. I simply say this. What is called "Hip-Hop dance" now *freestyled movements into choreography so that mainstream America can understand it or it looks presentable by so-called structured dances* is indeed the very root of the street dances that came about.

That's why I can't really fuck w/ shows like SYTCYD or even at times ABDC. I appreciate them, but at the same time...they will never get the essences of our dances. I mean, how can Nigel understand a dope ass lock into a transition at an obscure part of the song. Or a dope halo into some awkward looking thread right on the stop of the dime when a cat is really going off. Or even toprock - the basics of the dance...

I understand people need to make a living, ppl need to eat. True that. I respect the hustle. Seriously! I do...just give props where props are due.

I can go on and on about this. Just check the clip below and see what you think of when u look at dance nowadays:
