Here's an interesting post from IGN:
"First announced yesterday in Tokyo, the Dead Rising flick, formally known as Shibyou Osen Dead Rising, is being directed by Dead Rising producer (and Mega Man father) Keiji Inafune himself. The movie will follow the exploits of brothers Shin and Jouji who must escape from a quarantined town that's filled with zombies.
The trailer has plenty of gore, along with what we think might be b-level Japanese acting. This, we were expecting. What we weren't expecting is the use of a first person perspective. According to Capcom, the movie aims to give viewers the experience of a first person shooter.
We're not sure if Capcom plans on charging people to view the Dead Rising move, but it doesn't look like it. The movie is set to see release on the web some time this year."
